Do you know...I hunted for this exact sort of sound for AN HOUR. Through half the nooks and crannies and dark crevices of FreeSound. And I finally found it. I used it at the very end of an audio project I recently finished. Thanks for recording it!
Here is how it was used:

Those are good observations/suggestions. I'm afraid I don't remember how I recorded this particular sound (it may have been a wired mic into a computer). Some of my sounds have come off of cell phones, video cameras, etc. I've just accumulated a few random sound fx over the years, and occasionally I upload one. But none of them were "professionally" recorded. I've just used whatever device I had on hand at any given moment. I have found so many things (of varying quality) on this site to be useful, and wanted to offer whatever I had for anyone else to make use of, (just giving back to the FreeSound community). Having said all that, I will certainly take your suggestions under advisement, whenever I find myself capturing a random sound again. Thanks!

It would just be rude if it wasn't a critique. Are you using a wired mic? Theres some electrical interference in your signal which makes it relatively difficult to mix into a project. Also some various points/distance with a little bit of the natural recording room tone before and after to also help give the sound a bed to mix into with dramatic shifts in BG noise. Does that make sense?

Sure, if it's positive and constructive.

Would you be up for a little bit of recording critique?
