Long title... Masternate08 asked about how to make the sound of a revolver spinning - well, I suggested a rachet wrench. Fine... but I had to try it myself - I must admit that I don't own a gun (even though I live in Texas)... I can only imagine what it sounds like to load a revolver. The gunshot is a composite from various sources - mainly from gezortenplotz's 22_rifle_02.wav which was slowed down. A low rumble was added from a clap of thunder as well as a low tone. The sound at the end is a nearly empty bottle of Malibu Rum. Recorded with ECM-99 to Extigy Sound Card.

That was the idea. I also create sounds for audio theatre - and finding common items that sound like other things is the name of the game. Hopefully when used in the right context - the rachet could work.

Good gun shot sound, corny loading sound. Obviously a ratchet, and not the gun
