Was just having a nose about on the site and come across this, good work! Nice piece, only criticism is the compressor (sounds like a compressor) has been set to hard you can hear it squash the music too much when the flute sends it over the threshold.
Try using a limiter instead on the master bus. Bring the threshold down so it just starts to give you a tiny bit of gain reduction then use the make up gain to bring it to -0.3 db (if you want it loud). Too much gain reduction will start fuzzing the sound so set it while listening to that flute section. That being said, this don't need to be mega loud and squashed, you want to hear those juicy dynamics with this kind of thing :) Keep up the great work!
cool man! I find the beginning very cool and exiting (especially the rising piccolo flute or what that is) but then it sounds a bit squashed by a limiter.. :D
