One of those springy door stops that are fitted to the skirting board to stop the door hitting the wall. Always thought it would make a good sound to record!
Recorded on an ipod touch with a blue mikey microphone on blue fire app, Edited on cubase - just normalised and shortened with fades.
Please let me know how you find a use for this - I am sure it will have some bizaar uses!

Well, I've played with spring style doorstop but never thought to record them. My missed opportunities.
Thanks. I'll just listen to it for now since all my doors have bumper style.

Hey! I used this sound in the series as well. It made a great "thong" when an arrow struck.

You are listed in the end credits and at the following link since Youtube wouldn't let me put all the credits in the description field: http://bit.ly/12VSIwA
The credits are also accessible by clicking on the credit link when it appears in the video during the credits at the end.
If you are interested, there is a Facebook page for the show as well. https://www.facebook.com/AdventuresInDeutschland
