An electric foot massager. It makes a lot of small bubbles in a shallow pan of water. The electric motor makes a whine. For this sample the unit was remotely turned on and off, so there is no switch noise.

I'm sorry to hear that. The problem probably is on your end. I've uploaded many wav files here and yours is the first problem I've heard about.

can't get either of these sounds (01 or 02) to work....says that i need a codec...but it's just a .wav!!
