Soundscapes > Synthetic / Artificial
Alien Algorithm

Subtle Horror Ambience for creepy movies and indie horror games. This seamless loop was randomly generated with a waveform algorithm which I have developed internally. The algorithm creates random soundloops from scratch and outputs the data to a RAW file which I import, edit and process further on in my sound editing software. In addition I have filtered the sound through a light flanger which slowly pulsates and adds more randomness. No sound source has been used whatsoever to generate the artificial sound itself!

Check also the pitched-up and shorter version of this ambient loop, included in my Alien Algorithm Pack, which sounds creepier and more alien.

NOTE: For proper playback of my uploaded loops it is required to play them in a WAV editor/player which can replay soundfiles seamlessly without any interruptions!

Feel free to leave a comment on which version you prefer.

@toiletrolltube: Thanks for the feedback! The algorithm is a random sound generator which I may officially release as a VST plugin in the future.

Reminds me of the singing wineglass sound around 1k, only with additional deeper tones. Would love to try that algorithm myself, sounds interesting.
