A moth taking off. This moth was flying around the light in my bathroom. When I went to record him, he landed on the mic. Here you can hear him run up the microphone, whirr his wings and take off. He then flies around the light a few times, colliding with the shower curtain on occasion. 19 June 06. Sony MD and stereo mic.

That's awesome, cutest thing I've ever heard and I don't even have kids. The perfect pitter patter of tiny feet.

Great recording (or Great Luck). Moths are thought to be annoying creature, and usually quite difficult to hear their whirr so closely. Much more to record it. Yes, you did it.
