This is a recorded sample of a metal singing bowl being struck once and resonated with a felt stick. Based on the spectrogram of the sound, 600Hz came in the strongest, hence the name of the sound. This was recorded with an MXL 770 microphone approximately 10 inches away from the resonating bowl
