This is a recording of part of a torrential cloudburst that passed over on June 30th 2009 at around 23:30. This precedes my recording of the thunderstorm of the same night which can be listened to here.

part 2:
http://www.freesound.org/samplesViewSingle.php?id=83988 Unfortunately,
I was only able to capture the end of this downpour and the ensuing dripping. You will notice some extraneous noises such as traffic, the far off sound of Liverpool docks, and 2 crisp packets popping! recorded by a Panasonic binaural head mounted microphone into the olympus DS 50 digital recorder. Recorded in Crosby, Liverpool, United Kingdom.
