a bird of unknown species (can you help?) singing near a swamp in south Spain. Edit: Reinsamba identified it (thank you!) as a Common Whitethroat warbler (Sylvia communis) /un pájaro cuya especie desconozco cantando cerca de un pantano en el sur de España. Genghis, actually in late winter (numerals leading the file name in most of my samples are dates in the format yearmonthday). But thank you anyway for the suggestion!

Hi, sorry but I have to disagree with Reinsamba here, I think it is a Sardinian Warbler (Sylvia melanocephala). The song phrases are rather short indicating, perhaps that this was recorded after June (don't know if I'm right)?
