hi-ho, that 'noise' was nasty, don't feel the need to apologize. BC, ever try no caps? you might get your point across with less white-noise "nonsense" BS responses.
regardless, the sound byte tasted a tad flat for my pre-historic pallete

HMM, HEIGH-HOO, DID YOU TRY REGULATING YOUR SPEAKERS PROPERLY?? IF NOT, TRY TURNING THE "VOLUME" DIAL CLOCK-WISE. IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A DIAL, CONSULT THE MANUAL, IT SHOULD HELP. IF THIS IS NOT YOUR PROBLEM, TRY ALLEVIATING ALL OUTSIDE SOURCES OF "INCANDECANT" IRITATIONS TO YOUR COMPUTER BYTE, IT MAY BE INTERFERING WITH YOUR "OVERDIRVE" CURRENT CONDUCTORS IN YOUR MOTHERBOARD. LAST CHRISTMAS I FOUND MYSELF IN THE SAME CONUNDRUM.

Maybe the mixture of the right '2pm' causes such background noise. Though I said 'noise,' I didn't mean it's nasty at all. That kind of 'analog drive' is rather musical and fun to listen to.
By the way, it's strange that sometimes downloaded files have much white noise and that other member (can I say it's Acclivity?) claimed my very quiet sound to be terribly noisy.
Can such a thing happen? Is this also the case? I don't know.
