General marsh ambiance during summer. Noon, very hot (40C) and calm day: crickets, buzzing flies, a few bird calls (Kite, Swallow), fluttering gigantic grasshoppers. Must raise levels to get all details. Recorded with a pair of Shure WL183 mics, FEL preamp and Edirol R09 recorder. Hat, sun protection cream and a healthy blood system are prerequisites.

The hat and sun cream I can do - sadly the blood is likely to be a problem but I am happy to let you sit in the 40 degree heat and capture these wonderful sounds. Me I am letting the soft and cool English rain work its magic like a soothing balm.
