A 5.1 multi-channel rendering of a hoover engine flying through around a fixed listener (camera) position. I created this using the Fmod Sound Engine. It has seamless speed control and acceleration control. The engine also uses doppler effects as is flys by the camera. You will need a 5.1 setup and 5.1 player to listen to this in surround sound. Really all you need is windows media player. I hope to see more multi-channel samples here on Freesound. Let me know what you think.

actually it«s going to be very useful. I'm gonna use it in a play... I'm recreating the big bang, and this sounds like atoms to me. so thanks a lot.

"hoover engine" is just a synthesized futuristic engine sound. It can be used for anything really. I just created it for an anti-gravity futuristic engine sound.
