In 1974 Sennheiser introduced the binaural microphone MKE 2002. These microphones one can wear like headphones.
On this recording in May 2005 I was wearing them just like that and was using the Sony DAT recorder TCD-D7 plus the SBM-1 device.
I was standing nearly underneath those swallows.
There was also a dummyhead available from Sennheiser for the MKE 2002.
