Recording behind the cathedral on a nice 20c evening in spring.
It's the first warm evening in spring in this Dutch town of 's-Hertogenbosch in Holland. A lot of people are there, but this is a very quiet location behind the St. Jans (Saint John's) cathedral.
The recording starts with some city hum with remarkable low traffic. People are in the pubs and on the café terrace a hundred meters away. You can hear them.
After 6 minutes three East European musicians walk by towards the terrace, discussing what to do; play ore not?
After 10 minutes the start to play a nice tune and people yell. After a few songs they collect some money and go to the next pub.
After 25 minutes a LOUD MOPED passing
After 27 minutes the seven o'clock bell of the cathedral followed by the hesitating bells of the cathedral calling for the evening service.
The end is nice and peaceful.
