Stereo rocket-attack exterior recorded at KAV (Kandahar Air Field, Afghanistan)
I have recorded this sound when I was in Afghanistan to film the Dutch Air Force. I was for 8 days on the compound and experienced 4 times a "rocket attack alarm situation". This recording was the 4th !

Nope, It is a real warning. I've had put the mic around a corner and used a 20m cable, so I could talk and do other stuff, what would not end up in the recording.
My recorder has a pre-roll (10sec) so when the alarm started, I pressed the recordbutton and there you go, a recording including 9 sec of "pre-ambiance" sound!
