A wonderful sunny and warm March afternoon at Wansford Station located by the River Nene opposite the Railway Bridge.
An afternoon passenger train whistles and departs from Wansford Station, then heads across the River Nene bridge towards Peterborough Nene Valley. The locomotive is former British Railways Standard Class '5' No. 73050 'City of Peterborough'. This was built at Derby Works in 1954 and is painted in BR Black livery.
