A peaceful, and much-needed July rain in the Midwest. Marantz PMD661 and two Sennheiser ME66s were set up in deep woods recording this around 5:00 in the afternoon. Some distant thunder, and a singing bird highlight this slice of summer life in the Illinois forest. Complete with individual drops hitting the windscreen on the microphones. Recorded on Jluy 5th, 2016.
