This sequence of synthesised piano notes starts off with the notes (A#, F - one perfect fifth up, and D# - one perfect fifth down from A#). The pitch of all three of these notes is then modified (not keeping to the conventional music scale) by a single sine-wave adjustment, while still keeping the notes a perfect-fifth apart. This is achieved using a feature of Repetition Groups of the Kangas Sound Editor, which allows a pitch graph to be specified. There is also a gradual increase in the volume (crescendo) of the notes.
The Kangas Sound Editor is an open-source (freeware) computer program widely available on the internet (homepage http://www.kangasound.com)
