Imagine the scene - you are in a space craft, cruising through space and you need to escape or get somewhere fast. You throw the engines into full thrust and go for 'warp speed' The next thing you know, you are sucked into a black hole or reach critical velocity and slip through the dimension portal. In fact - this is the sound of three vacuum cleaners, recorded in reverse audio at different speeds with the electronic sound sample from Freesound user: "72680__owyheesound__decelerate_discharge" added at the end with a bit of reverb and echo added. Simples, but effective. No?

Thank you! Hope it was useful. I made it for a radio play of mine in which it was a background noise. Seemed a shame to have it slip into obscurity when other people could use it.

magtig - I love your video. Great work and thrilled to see the visualisations you created along with my sound. Thanks.

Hi! I used this sound on my time-lapse, street-art, optical illusion painting video project. It's currently approaching the top 10 on reddit here: http://www.reddit.com/r/videos/comments/pjsgj/amazing_time_lapse_video/
Thanks for the great work!

That is awesome! Could you upload a version where the beginning is less distorted? I'd like to use it as a tasmanian devil spinning sound.
