Ambiance along small water and farmland in March in The Netherlands.

It starts quietly but a shower is coming my way.
The wind picks up and there is light rain. You hear the drop on the water.
The coots cannot see me so they are very close. They are constantly engaged in the game of seduction and chasing away. Crows cry out in the trees. Sometimes you can hear the green woodpecker laughing. He laughs at you for not seeing him.
A lot of work is being done on the modern cattle farm across the water. A tractor is regularly audible.
There is not much shipping on the river Maas, 1.5 km away. Sometimes a plane.
