A city park with a playground and birds. A baby can be heard cooing at #0:30. Her father is rocking her on the creaking swing at #0:00.
#0:46 Two girls listening to electronic music cycle past. A moment later, you can hear them chatting in the distance, just like teenage girls do.
The birds are singing merrily away.

About the picture
A city park with a wide, open lawn surrounded by tall trees in various shades of green and red. Through the trees, you can see the water of a lake known as the ‘Iron Lady’.To the right, at the edge of the lawn, is a small playground with a swing and a slide, where a few people are present. To the right of a chair is a scooter, and behind that are a grandfather and grandmother with their grandchildren on the swing.
The sky is clear blue with a few contrails. It is a sunny, peaceful day. This city park is very popular with local residents and people who work here.

About Prins Hendrikpark
Prins Hendrikpark in ’s-Hertogenbosch was created between 1934 and 1936 as a public works scheme and was designed as a place for walking and relaxation. The park is situated around the lake known as ‘de IJzeren Vrouw’ and is one of the city’s oldest urban parks.
The nickname ‘de IJzeren Vrouw’ (Iron Lady) refers to the enormous steam dredging mill that carried out sand extraction around 1916 for the construction of the adjacent residential estate De Muntel.
The area quickly became a popular recreational spot for the city’s residents. A lido was also built.
Between 2009 and 2012, the park underwent extensive redevelopment with a focus on nature, walking and relaxation.
The old playground further down the park had been run by Aunt Doortje Spijkers and her husband since 1940.
P.S. I used to go out with Aunt Doortje’s granddaughter Hannie, who lived at the municipal abattoir at the time. It didn’t work out between us.
