Question? What do we have to do to get Freesound Geotaged files as a layer in Google earth?
digifish
Just to make sure what you mean: you want freesound to be included in the primary database in GE?
You'd probably have to talk nicely to Google.... but I don't know for sure.
For me, it's enough to save the freesound.kml file to "My Places". It will update automatically.

Yes, that's the idea. Why not, it seems a perfect match. Like all those Panaramio images that you can see, why not hear freesounds?
BTW: that .Kml you added doesn't seem to work

hey guys,
the KML is a bit... boken these days.
trouble is: there is no way to play sounds in google earth. If there was, I would add it again, but it's a bit useless to just have markers of sounds, but no sound.
someone! send an email to google!

Not sure if it is the right place...

digifish,
you should probably mention that we've had a kml layer before - but as it's impossible to play sounds from within google earth it's not very useful.
i.e. ask if there is any way we can PLAY SOUNDS in google earth.

I just discovered that Bernie Krause's site...
has a KLM layer for google earth that works...

This is made from his own library. He has been trying to get GE to include it as a layer.
