What I need is an old PC booting up with the typical memory counter, beep, and floppydisk check. Pretty much any PC will do, but if you got a 486 with decently cleaned fans then it would be the ultimate one. Please record the sound as close to the PC as possible since this removes most of the room ambience.
Thanks in advance.
What search terms did you try?
This one seems to be good: http://www.freesound.org/search/?q=boot+computer&f;=&s;=num_downloads+desc&advanced;=0
You can mix in a floppy sound into one of those and it should be good

Or is there something missing?
