I would like to solicit readings of a haiku I wrote:
They dug everything
out of the Earth, piled it
on top of itself.
I intend to create a composition by layering/slicing/effecting any recitations I can collect, loosely inspired by aoki takamasa's remix of War and Peace (but probably less dance-oriented).
If you decide to post a recording, please share the link in this thread.
My wife and I have already recorded many different recitations in this freesound pack.
Thanks in advance to anyone who participates!
I recorded it and uploaded too. It will be on my profile as soon as it's moderated.
EDIT: It's been moderated. Hope it helps.
If my accent is not too big of an issue, here are a few takes, some intentionally overdone
Glad you like it, thank you!
If anyone would like to translate the haiku into non-english languages and record that, I would also be very interested in collecting these recordings. If anyone does this, could you also post the text of your translation on this thread, and I will make an attempt at reading the translations. Thanks!
