Does anyone have a FL file which could act as a preset for a wobble bass as used in dubstep? I'm very very new to FL and the tutorials i have found and tried using all assume you have experience of FL, which i don't really......i'm getting there, slowly but surely
Thanks in advance
Ok i've got one.....for FL 9.
If anyone is as amature as me and wants the file, holler.
I recently started using fruity, so i know what you mean. I can't find where to upload a sound file, can anyone help? The easiest way to make the "wobble" using fl's native instruments would be using 3xOSC. A good choice is death ray, you don't need to change much to produce a decent dubstep bass. Click on the death ray's sample properties, and go to insert tab(INS). Select the cutoff(CUT)tab below that. Go down to the LFO settings with the four knobs. Turn the attack(Att) all the way down to the left. Turn the amount(amt) all the up to the right. The speed(SPD) knob adjusts the speed of the wobble: either right click the knob and set it to a fixed step (1 step, 2 step...), or you can record your pattern and manually move the speed knob to change the speed of the wobble throughout the song(this works well with a midi controller, just right click speed knob and link to controller, then twist whatever knob you want to control it). The two knobs to the right of the LFO settings (i believe their labelled mod x and mod y) are cut off frequencies you can play around with.
tell me how to upload sound files and i'll upload a couple for ya.
