Hi all.
Has anyone got a Warm, Smooth, Musical, Male or Female British-English Accent please for a few lines of announcements for our theatre. If any body could be so kind and give these few lines a go. It doesn't matter if you think you don't have a good voice have a try anyway. I would be very grateful and would reciprocate at any time (I am getting board with my own voice ). Thanx.

I imagine the natives will not be happy hearing an Ozzie over the Tannoy ...
[To be read in a Welsh accent]
Them Ozzies, they come over ere takin our bar jobs, and takin our wimmin ,
now ones got a voice-over job in a theatre full of Welsh actors .
Hi PJ,

My ancestory is Welsh (just look at my surname)
Your ancestry might be Welsh but your surname certainly isn't.

BTW you didn't do a bad job pronouncing Twm O'r Nant even though the direction was misguided. How does Twm become Tum ?
I don't think the natives will be miffed at an Aussie over the tannoy, it will make a change from a sais (Englishman).
Another non-Brit here. Not sure if I got the accent right, but since you bumped the thread, here you go. You might also want to try over at Radiodaddy.com.
I've attempted to remove background noise from Dangerbabe's recording

A pop shield / pop screen would help reduce the pops, clicks and excess sibilance Dangerbabe.
A homemade one will do http://www.hometracked.com/2006/05/28/homemade-pop-filters/
