Warning: LOUD UNPLEASANT SOUND
Intended only as an example. Read description.
A Little warning to anyone playing with exporting sounds into paint programs changing those sounds and importing back as sound:
Make sure firdt you find the settings to convert the sound to image and convert back to sound in your choice of sound and paint programs.
Maybe be that there is no combination of settings that allows you to recover the sound back because of different bit depth formats for both sound and image files, for example.
If you do find a combination of settings that allows you recover the sound make sure you write them down.
If your import settings into your audio editor (I am using Audacity) are not right you get something like this sound.
The original sound was a wav version of this sound:

Exported from Audacity as raw data and re-imported with the wrong settings.
