I needed a "ping" for a song. This is from the venerable Roland U220, with a lot of reverb. Pretty noisy, but works well as an effect in a song with other stuff going on to cover up the noise.

Hi Level7 - I sold the U220 that the sound came from, but I've sampled something for you this morning that sounds similar from a JV1010. The original sound was the U220 Fanta Bell. Look for Ping-noverb.mp3 on my sound samples page: panda-blog.org.uk/windchimes-samples

Do you have a sample of that without the reverb? But this is exactly what i was looking for. remixing a song and i hear a tail end of a sample that actually sounds just like this.
