A sample from a quick flight that I took with a friend on September 8th, 2015. Audio was recorded with a Zoom H5. You can hear the engine start, then we idle on the runway for a bit, and you'll hear us make a proper takeoff at about 13:30. After that it generally sounds the same. You'll hear when I crank the level down after takeoff, but you'll be able to easily compensate for it if you're serious about needing sustained flight noise for a small plane. The plane was a 1964 Cessna 172E and were flying around Vancouver, BC.
