A very accurate emulation of the classic "rewind and stop" sound performed by DJ's to add tension before the following drop.
Made after tens of trials using FL Studio's Fruity Scratcher on a sample I don't remember.
LATER EDIT (please read):
Dear comrades of freesound.org. I am delighted to see so many of you downloading this sound I made some while ago and saying it was useful to them (even though there are many more other sounds are more popular than mine). It's really a thrill to know your work, no matter how useless it seemed at the time, helped someone, sometime, even just a little.
For this I come to you. I must make a confession. I am a 19-year-old student typing from a second-hand laptop I recently received, living in a foreign town, apart from my parents, not being funded by them and trying to make a living by the use of our countries' infinitesimal social scholarship, various part-time jobs I find around, and also other tricks - for example, these days I'll donate blood to the local institution specializing in this, because for one donation they give you approximately 13 Euro-worth vouchers.
So, if you cared enough to read so far and my sound proved to be of use to you, would you be able to help me with my financial situation? I've made a PayPal account to make everything smooth and easy, I hope I got it right - it says my email is confirmed. If you could donate even just 1 Euro (or whatever the minimum limit is), that'd be great and would really help me. In fact, 1 Euro would be excellent; I can live with, let's say, 10 euros a week (sum allowed for food, I don't have to pay for being hosted in the campus dorm). Bonus: Everyone who decides to fund me can request any sound for me to design (as far as I am capable of reproducing it) and will receive it in a week. Hope I'm not being pushy or annoying with all this. Thank you for your time,
