Sound of grandfather clock striking. The sound dies out and then the clock keeps on ticking for a while. Original Mpeg recording (Marantz PMD670 with AT825 MP2 16 bit 48000Khz but converted to WAV 16 bit 44100 and normalized) no other editing was done.

This is a perfect sound for my application - a sound effect for a school theater show that needs a long sounding heavy bell at several scenes. Really nice quality! And very realistic. Thanks.

You can tell it's not looped WIM, if "theanimaster" wanted a shorter version why didn't he just edit it down to the size he wanted instead of whinging on about how it sounds like it's been looped!
I think it sounds great, and I use it on my hourly chime on my desktop. Thanks WIM for sharing it with us.

Loop? What loop? Nothing has been looped in this one, it's the clock striking as it is. So what you're saying is that the clock doesn't strike very smoothly. Ok, I'll tell grandpa to call for service. By the way, if you only wanted a short piece from this sample, you could've asked me.

Filesize is way too big for something that's been looped. The loop is not very smooth as well.
