A Woodpigeon (Columba palumbus) in my garden, 4 July 2006. My best of many tries so far. His song usually (as here) ends with what seems like the first syllable of the next sequence. You can then hear him flying away. Sony MD and mic. Some noise reduction applied to allay sound of wind in the trees.

  there always used to be one in a tree near my bedroom. good sound :)
