This sound was generated in Camel Audio's Alchemy (software synthesizer) using granular synthesis of a sample of a ceramic bowl being struck. The resulting sample was recorded live in Apple's Logic (DAW) using a keyboard controller and processed in BIAS Peak (sample editor).
