An early autumn morning in a settlement of Roma gypsies the Transsylvanian village of Țichindeal/Romania, basically just two mud roads with about 50 or so hovels in various states of disrepair.
The recorder is standing in the middle of the settlement, some women from the neighboring hovels are passing around, cuddling and admiring the recently born daughter of a neighbor as children run by shouting and chasing each other.
Other residents can be heard talking and working in the background.
Recorded with a Rode NT-SF1 and matrixed to stereo.
