Recorded in a small alley in between the metro stations Lapa and Carolina Michaelis in Porto. There are several small Houses around in which people are having dinner. Through the doors and windows you can hear a mixed sound of people talking, a baby crying, some radio or TV playing in the background, some dishes clattering. Outside there are cars passing in the distance (one quite near around 1’50), birds chirping and seagulls croaking.
Input level was a bit low, so I normalized it and put some light hiss reduction.
Recorded with Zoom Handy Recorder H2 with built-in W-XY cardioid-type stereo microphone.
