An airplane fades in, and as it gets closer a Magpie starts calling, frightened/inspired by the roaring of the engine. Over the fading out of the plane you can hear the magpie still calling, bird chirps, moos, and in general ambiance of marshes in a summer morning. Recorded remotely using a permanent setup installed by ICTS (Reserva Biológica de Doñana, CSIC, Spain: http:// icts.ebd.csic.es/) at Las Pajareras. Mic was a Sennheiser ME62 on a K6 system.
