Stereo field-recording of the most exuberant birdsong and Easter morning bells I've ever heard. A single woman's heeled footsteps are heard at the beginning. A couple car passes. Removed a bit of the ambient urban roar with SoundSoap. Recorded with two Sennheiser 416's in XY, to Fostex PD-6.

Using this for a history special on the word "Easter." Thanks!

Yes - I agree. Planned to do this for a year - after the first time I heard the Easter morning cacophany. A year later, the birds were not nearly so excited as they are this day. Nor the year after. The lesson? Think it should be done? Do it. That moment.

This is an awesome ambiance! Recordings like this make me wish that there was a microphone on every inch of the earth so we'd never miss a beautiful moment. Great job!
