A Visit to the Santa Croce church in Florence (Firenze, Italy), the church where Michelangelo, Machiavelli, Marconi, .. are burried. When I was in one of the gardens it was noon, the bells of the Santa Croce sounded along with many other bells of other churches. It was amazing. I did some noise-removal on this copy, the originla one (see other sample) has an ugly humm due to electrical stuff in the building.

Wonderful! This is what Freesound is all about! I am a band director and we are playing a piece called The Bells (British composer Gordon Jacob) in which he masterfully reproduced the effect of church bells. Since most of my students have never been out of the country to hear something like this, this sound fils is a PERFECT teaching example. Thanks so much, Hanstimm!
