Recorded early one morning in April in a Forest in Perthshire / Scotland, using a pair of ME80 Sennheiser microphones, the SBM1 device from Sony and a TCD-D7 DAT recorder.

You can hear Robins, Songthrushes and other woodland birds. This track is for all of you, who canĀ“t wait for springtime.

I love this record! I live in Venezuela with a lot of birds singing in the morning and enyoy very much to mix your scottish bird-chorus with the bird songs of my tropical surroundings, specially at sunrise. Very inspiring for every creative work to begin in the morning. You have done an excellent job in this record.

i have been thinking about doing some field recording on and off for last 2 years. After listening to this I think I will have to do something! Ha. Start off with a roland R-05 or 26 plus a windshield and find out what happens. Your reconding sounds beautiful but I think it must be hard to do this in reality. Thanks for the inspiration. innermoss.
