- Recorded 15-08-2004 around 10 AM, walking around St Etienne cathedral, Limoges, France (Some infos about the place here : http://www.musimem.com/limoges.htm)
The
sound changes as I move - it is intentional : you can clearly ear from
time to time the bells percussive sounds or the "resonance drone",
depending where I was at the moment (near the cathedral wall, in the
cathedral garden, etc..)
- Sound : please use headphones, this is a binaural recording - you should be alble to 'feel'
my head movements since microphones were worn on my head. - Tech : a
stereo binaural (SonicStudio) worn on head + Sony DAT recorder.

You can play it in Audacity and convert to MP3 or WAV from there. Great sample by the way.

This recording is an excellent example of how cathedral bells SHOULD sound. They are warm, inviting and jubilant, without sounding harsh.
Thank you.
