At Rowsley Station War Department Hunslet 'Austerity' Class 0-6-0ST 'Lord Phil' stands at the head of a train for Matlock. At the rear providing banking assistance is rebuilt Class 14 No D9524, repainted into BR Blue with yellow fronts and cabs, and numbered 14901. The guard blows his whistle and the Fireman says 'Lift Off'. The driver replies with a blast on the whistle and the train beats steadily away before being opened up for a spirited getaway. The blast from the chimney echoes off the hillside with the Class 14 rumbling at the rear.
