A dragon roaring. I created this effect for a production of Shrek. I recorded several takes of an actress roaring, and mixed some of them together, adding EQ, distortion, and reverb to create the resulting effect.
Recorded with an SM-57.

Thanks, I will use this sound when St: Georg strikes the final blow to the dragon in my scouts film.

Like I_forbes said, the roar would need to be deeper, but because the Dragon is played by a female, not a lot deeper. Ditto to the human comment and to the good groundwork comment.
