Thor's Well is a popular coastal Oregon attraction, a large hole in the rocky coastline where water surges in and out. This recording is when the waves were very large but the tide was very low so it was possible to get close to the hole to hear the splashing. Of course this is a popular spot so there are some people around but that is the ambience of this place; they see some seals.
