I recorded this as I was hoping an approaching storm would be more interesting. It was recorded from my window about 25 feet above the street. It gives a good sense of what my neighborhood generally sounds like (rather noisy). Since it is a long recording, here are various points of interest:
00:06:22-motorcycle pass
00:08:40-light rain
00:14:08-large truck
00:18:03-motorcycle
00:24:46-large truck
00:26:30-fire engine
00:31:19-air brakes
00:35:50-car starts
00:42:09-loud car
00:45:12-loud car
00:48:46-bus
01:06:04-truck
01:11:27-car
01:27:23-truck
1:29:50-weedeater
Recorded with a stereo pair of AT4021 mics into an Apogee Duet and edited with Record.

Brilliant, thanks! The length was one of the key points that attracted me to this.

My only real issue with this is the duration and file size. Other than that, this is a very nice recording, one that I'll hopefully be able to use in one of my sound projects.
Thanks.
