Hello,
I am in need of a good quality sample of a child walking on the street at normal speed. I would really appreciate a sample, or a link to one. Thank you!
Thank you very much my friend.. I know it's not easy to work with a child in these sorts of things, hehe..
I will keep checking back for it.
If the sound works out, may I add you to my movie credits?
Thanks again
hey, thank you very much.
But, can I ask- do you have the original recording without having removed the noise? In honesty, the sound would not match up to the other footstep sounds because of the quality difference. Perhaps tomorrow I will try to upload for you footsteps sounds from another scene so you can get an idea of the level of quality. Then you will see that if I used this sound in conjunction with the other actor's footsteps, there would be a noticeable difference. But, perhaps the original recording without the removal of noise would work?
And yes sure, I can post up a link.. the movie will be finished perhaps in 3 to 4 weeks.
Anyway, I appreciate your help, again.
I uploaded the file just now. I just want to give you an example of the quality- not of anything else, because this is from a different scene. The scene for which I need footsteps of a child (and also a female again, but I think I can acquire that) will involve the actors walking alongside the camera (not walking from a distance and approaching it).
Thanks again
Thank you again... but in truth, I can't use this sample because of the quality difference. Let me explain...
In the footsteps in the movie scene, you can listen to just the sound and can tell that it's someone walking on concrete.. you can hear the crunch of gravel under their shoes and such... but in the case of this sample, I listen and it just does not sound very high quality. I can't tell if it's a shoe or not.. or what it's stepping on. I think it might be your microphone or the noise reduction you're doing after the recording.
Thanks again for the help, but just to tell you, I can't use the sample because of the quality difference between this sound and the rest of my sounds. Any chance of getting a sound of matching quality?
Hi everyone,
Well my movie project is about 90% complete, but I still need this sample I am looking for. Might anyone know of one that would match the quality of the example I uploaded in my profile?
thank you!
Could increase the speed of this by about 10% ... http://www.freesound.org/samplesViewSingle.php?id=31368 (and cut the bass)
