Hey Guys,
I'm an artist who's doing a life size walk-in Uterus as an installation piece. For the gallery opening I want to create an entire experience as the viewer enters the uterus, complete with sound. I'm thinking a subliminal underwater murmur sound played on a loop as backgound noise would be great, and I haven't found one that's right. I can't decide if there should be a heartbeat of not, because the uterus isn't necessarily pregnant, I just want it to sound alive.
If anyone knows of an organic, human body sound that reminds you of being In-Utero, let me know. If I use it in the opening I'll be sure to give you credit. let me know if you want to see pics of the piece.
Thanks A lot !!!
The most exciting thing you're gonna hear in utero is borborygmi ... http://www.freesound.org/samplesViewSingle.php?id=57167
Maybe a deafening burst of noise as a consequence of an ultrasound scan ... http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/9037941
uterusgirlIf it is life-size it'll be about the size of a pear, on-one will fit in it.

If you want people to re-experience the womb you should put them in a sensory deprivation tank
or a confined in vacuum bed (like shrink-wrapped bacon).
